Competition details:
Zunaid Moti is looking for a new multimedia guru to take on his daily videography and photography on a full-time basis!
If you are interested in working alongside the billionaire business maverick, you will need to be hard working, creative, enthusiastic and an opportunity driven-individual who works well under pressure and on very tight deadlines.
If you’re an out-of-the-box thinker with crazy ideas and great problem-solving skills, then this is your shot.
BUT you need to be able to start immediately.
How it will work:
You will need to meet a criteria checklist and then email your CV and portfolio (plus a few other documents) to zm@prworx.co.za by 20 January 2024 in order to stand a chance of being selected to compete.
The top 10 individuals will be selected based on CVs and portfolios.

You will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement as well as a content usage and release form as your content will be owned by Zunaid Moti and PR Worx. You will be compensated R3,000 per day worked.
The competition will run over three days: 23 – 25 January 2024
Each day will comprise of shooting and packaging content.
You will need to be 100% available for two days to make it to the final.

Day 1: First group of five individuals will compete in various photography and videography tasks.

Day 2: Second group of five individuals will compete in similar challenges as day one.

Day 3: Winners from day 1 & 2 will go head-to-head in a series of final tasks.
The winner of the full-time position will be selected within 48 hours after Day 3.
To sweeten the deal, the runner up walks away with R25,000 cash.

Photographer / Videographer / Content Creator
Job summary:
As a Photographer/Videographer, you will be responsible for capturing and creating visually compelling images and videos that align with the organisation’s vision, goals and branding. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, artistic creativity, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to produce high-quality visual content.

Responsibilities:
1. Photography:
-
Capture high-quality photographs for a variety of purposes, including marketing materials, product shots, events, and corporate portraits.

Use professional camera equipment, lighting, and editing software to achieve desired results.
-
Maintain and organise a comprehensive library of visual assets.
2. Videography:
-
Plan, shoot, and edit videos for different purposes, such as social media videos, promotional videos, interviews, and event coverage.

Operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices.
-
Edit and post-produce video content using software tools such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar applications.
3. Creative Direction:
-
Collaborate with marketing teams, art directors, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements.

Provide creative input and suggest innovative ideas for visual storytelling.
4. Equipment Maintenance:
-
Ensure all photography and videography equipment is well-maintained, calibrated, and in proper working condition.

Stay informed about the latest technologies and trends in photography and videography.
5. On-location Shoots:
-
Coordinate and conduct on-location shoots, including setting up equipment, managing logistics, and ensuring a smooth shooting process.

Adapt to different environments and lighting conditions to capture the best shots.
6. Post-Production:
-
Edit and retouch photographs to enhance visual appeal and maintain consistency with the organisation’s brand.

Edit and assemble video footage, add music, graphics, and other elements to create polished final products.
7. Project Management:
-
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the production process.
T&Cs and criteria for the position:

Varied working hours (Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, situation dependent but understand that you will be required after hours, on weekends, and on public holidays)

Not having dependencies due to travel and time commitments.

Need to have their own basic equipment - this is in case of an emergency.

Full studio and professional equipment will be provided to the appointed employee.

Need to be Johannesburg-based or willing to relocate.

Needs to have own reliable transport and valid driver’s license.
-
Be comfortable doing random drug tests and polygraph tests.
